Didacus Ramos is an Urban Planner working to convert California sprawl into something that includes people.
He started in the film industry making documentary films in Jerusalem and as a stringer for Israel Television and Canadian Broadcasting Company. After studying at USC he turned to feature filmmaking, finishing those years working on a “Rocky” film.
As a producer, he travelled around the world including setting up TV3, the first national TV network in Malaysia.
Turning to Urban Planning, Didacus managed the construction of affordable housing and business development in Southern California.
Now he serves on the boards of Friends of Public Bank East Bay, Eden Community Land Trust, and the Literacy Plus Council.
